


“TSE” and “Huawei” signed the MOU to purchase Huawei Solar Inverter for Solar Farm in Japan
Cathleen Maleenont, Ed.D., a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (in the middle) and Mr. Somphop Prompanapitak, Chief Operating Officer (6th from right) of Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited (“TSE”) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Mark Meng, President of Enterprise Business Group (4th from left) of Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading global ICT (“Information and Communication Technology”) and smart devices, to purchase Huawei Solar Inverter for a new solar farm project “Onikoube” in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The plant has a total installed power generation capacity of over 150 MW. Currently, this project is in developing process and expected to be able to Commercial Operation Date (COD) in 2022.
